Verkhovyna ski resort

Verkhovyna is a picturesque small town in the middle of the Carpathians near Mt. Hoverla, but out of the way of the main transportation artery — the Ivano-Frankivsk-Uzhhorod road. The town has two small tow lifts — not much to speak of, really. However, if you're in town already, you might enjoy spending a day on the hill. Runs are 300-550 m in length. There is a ski rental nearby.
