Yasinya ski resort

Yasinya is a large mountain community in a wide, picturesque valley on the main road from Ivano-Frankivsk to Rakhiv in the heart of the highest ranges of the Carpathians. Yasinya is a popular tourist destination at all seasons of the year and remains quite uncommercialized. Nearby is Mt. Hoverla (2061 m), the highest mountain in Ukraine, and popular Drahobrat ski resort. In the summer, the Yasinya area is popular among hikers, who climb up onto the Chornohora range (highest in Ukraine) from the south edge of town, or onto the second highest range - Svidovetsky ridge - from the north end.

Within the town of Yasinya itself are two tow lifts of 800 m and 400 m in length. They are situated in different locations and are best suited for beginning and lower intermediate skiers.

Yasinya's convenient location makes it an excellent choice for tourists and vacationers who take day trips to different destinations in the surrounding mountains and valleys by minibus, taxi, or diesel train. In addition to Drahobrat, Yablunytsia and Bukovel are easily accessible from Yasinya by car as well.
